Well, Well, Well.

Here's some numbers for you.

Andrew Bynum: 8 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, 3 blocks
Trevor Ariza: 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals

KWAME FÍNG BROWN: 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block. And that one block? On Pau Gasol. One of 2 blocks allowed by Gasol.

Everyone thought I was crazy when I said Detroit would beat LA.

WHO'S CRAZY NOW?

We are still awaiting Andrew Bynum's arrival as the greatest center in modern history. For the season: 10.1, 8.9, 3 blocks, which is honestly awesome.

I think somehow the Lakers will ease their suffering by the fact that they are still light years beyond everyone else as the best team in the league. No sarcasm. They had a bad shooting night. That's it.

Blocks allowed sounds incredibly lame. It doesn't even make any sense. You don't allow blocks, you get your shot attempts blocked. Blocked attempts.

I'm a gigantic Lakers fan, but I think I'll have to disagree with you here. It was more than just a bad shooting night. Yeah we were missing lots of shots that normally would go in, like 3's. But when perimeter players go cold, you have to pound the ball inside and start getting some points to get some momentum and open the game back up for them. Bynum/Gasol and to a lesser degree Odom just couldn't hack it against the Piston's physical play underneath the hoop.

Bad shooting night? Worst. excuse. ever. The Lakers are still scary, but they got outplayed, pure and simple.

Selective memory is fun! Do you not remember this email you sent during Thursday's Pistons-GSW game?

"Okay, I take it back. Pistons won't be beating the Lakers on a back to back considering they're getting a beating from Golden State.

They might make it to Christmas undefeated. I don't think Phoenix can take them."

To which I responded:

"It's called a 'look-ahead game.' Detroit will bring it tomorrow night, belie-dat."

Looks like I actually had more faith in the Pistons winning than you did!

The Lake show was interrupted this time around, but the Pistons are not a better ball club. A seven game series would prove this true. But, I'm afraid Detroit is not getting past the C's this year.
