Ladies and gentlemen, after six months, thousands of posts, and the most insane trade season ever, we're finally ready to announce the winners of the 2008 Hardwood Paroxysm Bloggers Season Awards.
After the nominations, and the vote announcement, we had a great response. We had 40 of the top NBA bloggers vote for the Bloggers' Choice, and almost 2000 votes for the Readers' Choice awards.
Before we announce the winners, it's important to explain the reason for this whole thing. The NBA has an astounding number of angles that can be taken to write about it. From statistical analysis to theoretical musings to whatever the hell it is we do here. And the writing is so superb from all angles, I thought there needed to be some sort of recognition for the great work that's done, particularly because there's no money whatsoever in it. Okay, for most of us, maybe not all of us.
