Question: do you think all the Laker fans who were saying that Kobe deserved the MVP the last two years think that LeBron deserves it this year? After all, it's basically the same obstacle for both players in those scenarios (not enough wins). I know a lot of Laker fans are taking the opposite approach this year in saying that if Kobe didn't deserve it the last two years then LeBron doesn't deserve it this year, but this is only looking at it from the perspective of all the voters. What happens if you turn it around on them? If you were someone who thought Kobe did deserve the MVP award the last two years, can you justify not thinking that LeBron deserves it this year? I don't see how you could.
